Adobe releases Photoshop Lightroom 2.2

Adobe releases Photoshop Lightroom 2.2: “Adobe has updated Photoshop Lightroom to Version 2.2. The latest version extends RAW support to the cameras included in the recent Camera RAW 5.2 release. The latest update also builds-in the camera profiles, previously available from Adobe Labs, that attempt to mimic the camera manufacturers’ intended output.”

Adobe updates Camera Raw for CS4: “Adobe has released an update to its Camera Raw Plug-in for Photoshop CS4. Camera Raw 5.2, which replaces v5.1, extends support to seven more cameras, including Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Panasonic DMC-G1. The update includes enhanced color profiles, output sharpening and a new Targeted Adjustment tool. In addition, users can save all image adjustments and settings as a single snapshot for future reference. ‘”

Adobe Camera Raw 5 Now Available

Adobe Camera Raw 5 Now Available: “Photoshop CS4 which as you know by now has started shipping from today also includes Adobe is Camera Raw 5. In his blog entry, Lightroom Product Manager Tom Hogarty listed the following features:

    *  Local adjustment brush
    * Graduated Filter
    * ‘Post Crop’ Vignetting
    * Opacity for the cloning/healing tool
    * Improved Auto Adjustment
    * Support for the new Camera Profiles that are still in beta form”

Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 available for download

Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 available for download: “Adobe today has released Camera Raw 4.6 for Photoshop CS3 on Mac and Windows. The latest version of the RAW conversion plug-in extends its support to RAW files taken with the Canon EOS 50D, Nikon D90, Sony DSLR-A900 and several other compact cameras, digital SLRs and medium format backs.”

Adobe unveils Creative Suite 4

Adobe unveils Creative Suite 4: “Photokina 2008: Adobe has lifted the lid on Creative Suite 4, the latest version of its huge design and production suite. Of most interest to photographers will of course be Photoshop CS4, which brings some interface changes (tabbed windows) as well as 64-bit Windows support and OpenGL support to use graphics cards to speed up operations (and provide nifty zoom and rotation tools) and a new non-modal approach to adjustment layers. We’ve been using Photoshop CS4 in Beta form since May and will bring you a fuller report on all the new features once Photokina is behind us.”

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.1 Now Available: “Photoshop Lightroom 2.1 has been released by Adobe. The new update addresses several bugs that had cropped up in Lightroom 2.0 and also provides additional camera raw support.  Download it from here.
