Adobe releases Lightroom 2.5 and Camera Raw 5.5: “Adobe has released Photoshop Lightroom 2.5 and Camera Raw 5.5. These are final versions of updates which were originally posted as ‘release candidates’ on the Adobe Labs site, and are now available for immediate download. Both provide additional Raw support for Nikon D300S, Nikon D3000, Panasonic DMC-GF1 and Olympus E-P1. Although support is offered for Panasonic DMC-FZ35, it doesn’t extend to the Japanese and European version of the camera (the FZ38). In addition, the ACR update also includes corrections for sensors with non-conventional color filter arrays (as introduced in the most recent DNG specification).”

Latest Mac OS X Leopard Adds RAW Support to 14 Cameras: “Mac users can now download the latest update to Mac OS X Leopard, version 10.5.7. The upgrade adds system-level raw support for 14 new cameras and digital backs including four Leaf cameras. The new cameras supported are:

Adobe releases Lightroom 2.3 and Camera Raw 5.3: “PMA 2009: Adobe has released Photoshop Lightroom 2.3 and Camera Raw 5.3. These are final versions of updates which were originally posted as release candidates on the Adobe Labs site, and are now available for immediate download. Both provide additional Raw support for Nikon D3X and Olympus E-30 DSLR’s. Lightroom is also now available in 8 new languages.”

Adobe updates Camera Raw for CS4: “Adobe has released an update to its Camera Raw Plug-in for Photoshop CS4. Camera Raw 5.2, which replaces v5.1, extends support to seven more cameras, including Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Panasonic DMC-G1. The update includes enhanced color profiles, output sharpening and a new Targeted Adjustment tool. In addition, users can save all image adjustments and settings as a single snapshot for future reference. ‘”

Adobe Camera Raw 5 Now Available: “Photoshop CS4 which as you know by now has started shipping from today also includes Adobe is Camera Raw 5. In his blog entry, Lightroom Product Manager Tom Hogarty listed the following features:

    *  Local adjustment brush
    * Graduated Filter
    * ‘Post Crop’ Vignetting
    * Opacity for the cloning/healing tool
    * Improved Auto Adjustment
    * Support for the new Camera Profiles that are still in beta form”

Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 available for download: “Adobe today has released Camera Raw 4.6 for Photoshop CS3 on Mac and Windows. The latest version of the RAW conversion plug-in extends its support to RAW files taken with the Canon EOS 50D, Nikon D90, Sony DSLR-A900 and several other compact cameras, digital SLRs and medium format backs.”
